IC Realtime surveillance cameras were integrated into El Maro, an award-winning 20,000-square-foot luxury estate featured in CE Pro, showcasing professional security technology as part of a sophisticated whole-home automation system.
IC Realtime surveillance technology was integrated into El Maro, a 20,000-square-foot luxury estate in Paradise Valley, Arizona, recently recognized in CE Pro's 2026 Home of the Year Awards. The project demonstrates how professional security systems can be incorporated into sophisticated residential environments alongside advanced automation, entertainment, lighting, and environmental controls.
The estate received Gold in the Best Whole-House/Smart Home Over $1 Million category. Designed and built by American First Builders, the project was brought to life by Scottsdale-based USA Integration, which worked alongside the builder from the earliest stages of construction to seamlessly incorporate technology throughout the property.
Rather than treating technology as an addition to the finished home, USA Integration developed a comprehensive infrastructure plan before construction began. This approach allowed security, lighting, shading, networking, and entertainment systems to be integrated directly into the estate's architectural design.
At the center of the installation is a Crestron Home control platform connecting 15 subsystems across five structures. The system includes more than 48 audio zones, 12 video distribution zones, over 400 architectural lighting fixtures, more than 120 motorized shades and drapery tracks, and over 100 alarm zones.
Security plays an important role in the property's integrated technology experience. The estate incorporates 27 security cameras, with IC Realtime surveillance technology included among the solutions selected for the installation.
One of the project's standout features is its customized security response. Through Crestron programming, an alarm event can automatically display a live camera feed on the nearest television, providing immediate visual awareness without requiring homeowners to locate a smartphone or open a separate application.
The estate also incorporates additional protective and automation features, including zone-specific water leak alerts, automated lighting and shading schedules, and a vacation mode designed to simulate occupancy while residents are away.
Beyond security, El Maro demonstrates how professionally integrated technology can complement luxury residential design. Advanced entertainment systems, environmental monitoring, intelligent lighting, and centralized controls work together to create a consistent experience throughout the property.
For IC Realtime, having its surveillance technology selected for a project of this scale highlights the role professional security solutions play in complex residential installations, where reliability, system integration, and long-term performance are essential considerations.
The recognition of El Maro in CE Pro's 2026 Home of the Year Awards reflects the expertise of USA Integration and the importance of thoughtful system design in bringing together multiple technologies across a large luxury residence.
